Feeling stiff, sore, or just not yourself?

Maybe it's the back pain that's crept in through pregnancy, the neck and shoulder tension from feeding and rocking a newborn, or that wired-but-tired feeling of a nervous system running on empty. Maybe you've been putting up with it for so long you've forgotten what it feels like to be comfortable in your own body.

My care is gentle and calm. No big cracks required: I use low-force techniques tailored to you, whether you're growing a baby, recovering after birth, bringing your little one in for a check, or simply ready to feel more at ease. You'll often leave with a few simple stretches to take home too.

The Māori philosophy of Hauora guides everything I do, caring for the whole person: physical, social, spiritual, mental and emotional wellbeing. Awa means river in te reo Māori, for the calm, steady flow I hope you feel when you walk out the door.

Preconception + pregnancy

Getting ready for pēpi, or already growing one? Gentle care to keep your spine and pelvis moving well and help you feel more at ease as your body changes, in every trimester.

After birth

Your body has just done something huge. Gentle care to ease the strain of feeding, lifting and carrying, and help you settle into this new season. Pēpi is welcome to come too.

Babies + tamariki

From the first weeks through every growth spurt and milestone. Very light-touch care matched to your child's age and size, with you beside them the whole time.

The whole whānau

Work, school, sport, parenting or everyday life. Care for partners, teens, parents and grandparents, all at the same simple prices.

What to expect

New patient visits take about 45 minutes. Regular visits after that are 15 minutes.

Injured? No GP referral needed. I can lodge your ACC claim and invoice ACC directly, so you only pay your share.

Good to know

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly, including for ACC injury claims.

Is chiropractic care for babies gentle?

Yes. Care for babies and children uses very light, low-force techniques, much gentler than adult care. You stay with your baby the whole time, and feeding or settling during the visit is always welcome.

Can I come while I'm pregnant?

Yes, in any trimester. I work alongside your midwife or LMC and will always refer back to them for anything outside my scope.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable you can move in, like activewear or loose clothing.

How do I pay?

You pay online when you book, and that payment confirms your appointment. For ACC visits you only pay your share.

What if I need to change or cancel?

No stress. If you need to reschedule, your payment stays with you as credit for your next booking. If you need to cancel and won't be rebooking, you'll be refunded, minus the card processing fee.
